GLAR Reports: We’re Looking Good!

The GLAR Market Reports (Greater Lewisville Association of REALTORS®) are published monthly and are a great resource for how our area is faring in today’s real estate market.

If you’re looking to buy or sell a home, or just curious, take a look at the area Market Data from March 2019 compared to March 2018:

Denton:  Our neighbor to the north is doing nicely in the current market – median prices are up .9%, active listings are up 31.2% and the days on market have held steady at 43.


Flower Mound: Prices have held steady in Flower Mound, with no change from this time a year ago. Active listings are up 37.4% with 305 homes available last month. Homes are moving a bit slower than a year ago – average days on market are 75 vs 35 a year ago.


Lantana: This area remains hot! Median price is up 3.3% at $425,000; active listings are down 19.6%, with 74 homes available in March 2019. Months of inventory available are at 2.7, down from 3.5 a year ago.


Lewisville: Our neighbor to the east is also faring well in this market. Lewisville home prices are up 2.7% from a year ago, with median prices at $265,000. 70% of the homes available in this price distribution are between $200,000 and $299,999. There were 180 active listings available in March.
