Our Favorite Decorating Ideas For Fall
It's Fall Y'all!
It’s beginning to feel like Fall is arriving in DFW, with cooler temps and schools back in session. It’s September, which means it’s time to think carving those pumpkins and covering your home in those rich, rustic shades.
Feeling the drops in temperature, temporary or no, makes our Seay Group team feel excited about the fun things we all love to do in our own homes, to celebrate the season!
Here are a few of our favorite ideas to get started:
- Soft colors work, too!
- Planted mums work inside and out
- The local farmer's market is a great stop for unusual gourds and pumpkins
- Light it up with lanterns
- Fall crafts are great for virtual learning kids to have an activity that gets displayed
- Don't forget your back porch
- Add evening lights on porch arrangements
- Plant Ornamental Cabbage and Kale
- MIni-pumpkins are an Autumn Seay Group favorite for kitchen containers
- Plant succulents and mums in pumpkins
- Leaves with your pumpkins add texture & layers
- Use metal rods and stack your pumpkins tall
- Use haystacks for height
- Paint branches fall colors to keep decorating on a budget
- Upcycle kid's wagons for mum and pumpkin displays
- Artificial moss is a great layer with pumpkins, gourds and apples
- Do what makes you feel "Fun Fall"!
