First Day of School is coming!

Yikes! Even though it seems like summer just started, the first day of school is right around the corner. Our office serves a broad area in North Texas; here is back-to-school information for the six public school districts that most frequently serve our Seay Realty Group clients:

Argyle ISD - footballArgyle ISD – first day of school is Monday, August 20th

FUN FACT: The AISD Eagle Update is full of dates, registration information, helpful links  and more, and is published by the AISD PR & Communications Department.

Did you know that the Football Season Opening Game on August 31 at Eagle Stadium will be featured on Fox Sports Southwest as part of its second annual “Texas Football Days” programming.

Coppell ISD – first day of school is Wednesday, August 15th

Did you know that Coppell ISD has a long heritage that started sometime in the 1870s. It’s believe that the school – most likely a log cabin – was in the Coppell area. The area was first referred to as Gibbs Station and was renamed to Coppell.

Denton ISD – first day of school is Wednesday, August 15th

FUN FACT: If you’re new to Denton ISD, please visit this page to learn everything about the district, from how to enroll your child to which school your child will attend.

Did you know that Denton High School art teacher James Rosin tasked his students with creating a custom portrait from 8×10 portraits of Syrian refugees. Since Denton High is an International Baccalaureate campus, Mr. Rosin believed this project could create an impactful combination of world perspective and artistic expression. View the story here.

Lake Dallas ISD – first day of school is Thursday, August 16th

Did you know that Lake Dallas offers a Back to School Health Fair for the entire Lake Cities community? For those who quality, the health fair offers free backpacks, immunizations, sports physicals, haircuts, vision screening, ear test and more, PLUS booths that feature face painting, cotton candy, popcorn AND bounce house, mascots and live music make this a fun event for all. Lewisville ISD – first day of school is Wednesday, August 15th

FUN FACT #1: Lewisville ISD is HUGE! Encompassing 127 square miles, it serves 52,000 students from thirteen municipalities: Lewisville, Carrollton, Double Oak, Highland Village, Frisco, Grapevine, Argyle, Flower Mound, The Colony, Copper Canyon, Plano, Coppell and Hebron.

Northwest ISD – first day of school is Monday, August 27th

FUN FACT: Northwest ISD is one of the fastest growing school districts in the area. Spanning three counties (Tarrant, Denton and Wise), the district added approximately 1,200 students over the summer months, bringing the total enrollment to over 23,000. View their back-to-school information here.
