Housing Reports for February

The Real Estate Market is in full swing right now, and despite gloomy reports, the areas around us are looking good! Take a look at these February 2019 Greater Lewisville Association of REALTORS® Market Reports …


With median prices up 20.4% and active listings up 53.6% from this time last year, the Argyle Market is doing great! Days on market are holding steady, just one day more than February 2018.


Flower Mound

The Flower Mound market also fared well last month. Compared to one year ago, the median price was up 11.5% and active listings were up 44.8%. Closed sales are up 37.9%. Homes in Flower Mound are on the market 11 days more than last year, which is typical for the market this year.



Median Prices in Lantana are up 5.1% compared to February 2018, with the majority of homes for sale (77%) in the $300,000 to $499,999 price range. The “Months of Inventory” remains pretty steady at 2.8, compared to last year’s figure of 2.9. Although active listings were slightly down 1.3% last month, 75 Lantana homes were listed in February 2019.


The town of Prosper is in a huge growth spurt right now. Located along the 380 corridor, east of Denton and in both Denton and Collin Counties. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,423; as of 2019, the estimated population was 25,670. (Wikipedia)

Prosper housing is hot right now, with master planned communities popping up all over. The Housing Reports for Prosper indicate homes are closing quicker than a year ago, more homes are available (new home construction is exploding in Prosper), and active listings are up 20.6%.
