The FreddieMac PMMS report for 11/21/18 reports 30-Year fixed-rate mortgage rates have declined 13 basis points, the largest weekly drop since January 2015. These dips offer a window of opportunity for would-be buyers who have been waiting for a drop in rates!
The 15-Year FRM are down to 4.24%, a 12 basis point drop, and ARM’s are at 4.09%, a 5 basis point drop.
Freddie Mac attributes these drops to the current downward spiral in oil prices and a volatile equities market.
