Area Home Sales & Prices Set Records
The Dallas Morning News recently reported home sale prices in North Texas surged last month, setting records. The median price of homes was $266,500, the highest ever recorded in our area. Prices for May 2018 were 9% higher than a year ago, according to the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University and the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems (NTREIS).
Additionally, Real Estate agents sold 11,302 pre-owned single-family homes in May, the largest number of home sales EVER in a single month in North Texas.
