How did Local Markets perform in April?
The Argyle housing market tightened up a little bit in April, with active listings down 15.8% and months of inventory down as well. As you might imagine, that means the days on market numbers tightened up as well, with homes selling 26 days sooner than a year ago.
Flower Mound‘s housing market continues to increase: Compared to April 2017, median prices rose 4.4%, active listings rose 14.5%, months of inventory rose 2.6% (compared to 2.2% last year). Homes are staying market 13 days more, good news for buyers.
Like its neighbor to the east, Lantana continues it’s housing success story. Compared to a year ago, median prices rose 4.3%, active listings are up 100%, closed sales are up 41.4% and months of inventory have increased to 3.5. Same good news for buyers, as days on market increased by 4 days from a year ago.
